They work on all of our behalves for positive change at both a local and national level to make cycling safer, and more achievable. This may be through lobbying governments and councils for systemic change in policy or simply inspiring others to commit to change at a local level.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following organisations are committed to positive change for our communities, our children and the environment. They offer fantastic resources for all of us and deserve our support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/lcc.org.uk\">London Cycling Campaign<\/a><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The London Cycling Campaign is a registered charity that has been actively promoting cycling for over 30 years. With over 12,000 members, they campaign for safer streets and a more integrated and robust cycling infrastructure. They lobby decision makers and encourage bicycle use before motorised transport<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p> The voice of cyclists in London, working to create a better city.<\/p><cite><a href=\"https:\/\/lcc.org.uk\">London Cycling campaign<\/a><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.richmondlcc.co.uk\">Richmond Cycling Campaign<\/a><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>As members of London Cycling Campaign in Richmond, we want Richmond to be a&nbsp;<strong>cycle friendly borough<\/strong>. To achieve this, we are working with the council to improve facilities for cyclists and we are raising the profile of cycling in the borough through education and participation. We want people to&nbsp;<strong>choose to cycle<\/strong>&nbsp;in the borough of Richmond and&nbsp;<strong>feel safe<\/strong>&nbsp;while doing so.<\/p><cite><a href=\"https:\/\/www.richmondlcc.co.uk\/about\/\ufeff\">Richmond Cycling campaign<\/a><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>RCC meets monthly and has regular rides and check out their website!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/kingstoncyclecampaign.wordpress.com\">Kingston Cycling Campaign<\/a><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>We are the local Kingston Borough group of the&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.lcc.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">London Cycling Campaign<\/a>, promoting cycling in the borough and speaking up for everyone on bikes \u2013 children and adults.<\/p><cite><a href=\"https:\/\/kingstoncyclecampaign.wordpress.com\">Kingston Cycling campaign<\/a><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>KCC meets monthly and has regular rides and check out their website!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sustrans.org.uk\">Sustrans<\/a><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>We work with and influence policy makers and partner organisations to make smarter travel choices possible, desirable and inevitable.<\/p><cite><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sustrans.org.uk\">Sustrans<\/a><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Sustrans is a national organisation that works with and influences policy makers. For over 40 years they have been instrumental in the development of all official policy and guidance relevant to walking, cycling and public transport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The sustains also develop, maintain and promote the National Cycle Network a network of signed routes for walking and cycling. Their website is packed full of resources from cycling maps to campaign packs and resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cyclinguk.org\/cycle-campaigning\">Cycling UK<\/a><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>For over 140 years, Cycling UK has campaigned to make cycling safe and accessible for everyone. Every year, thousands of people support our campaigns and together we achieve real change for cyclists, securing funding for cycle lanes and routes, making our roads safer and improving access to the outdoors.<\/p><cite><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cyclinguk.org\/cycle-campaigning\">Cycling UK<\/a><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.britishcycling.org.uk\/campaigning\">British Cycling<\/a><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Britain urgently needs to change the way that it moves.
